Who Is Zylo Marshall?

An accomplished advocate from Northern California, Zylo Marshall brings over 40 years of lived experience with traumatic brain injury (TBI) and neurological trauma. After suffering a brain injury as an infant, Zylo faced lifelong challenges—yet also developed extraordinary resilience, awareness, and commitment to justice.

What Is a Vulnerable Adult?

What Is a Vulnerable Adult?

A vulnerable adult is any person 18 years or older who struggles to protect their own well-being due to:

✦ Mental, emotional, or cognitive disability

✦ Physical disability

✦ Illness or neurological conditions

✦ Trauma (including TBI)

✦ Situational vulnerability (poverty, isolation, exploitation, dependency)

These individuals are at higher risk of abuse, manipulation, neglect, and exploitation—both socially and legally.
